This course for web designers who will be developing commercial websites using ColdFusion servers and forms containing CFML (ColdFusion Markup Language) tags. The course will concentrate mainly on ColdFusion MX, but will also cover ColdFusion 5.

Macromedia ColdFusion training program prepares you to:

• Using Dreamweaver MX to develop ColdFusion applications

• An in depth understanding of CML tags and the standard idioms for using them

• Understand forms processing in CFML

• Implementing databases driven applications using CFML tags for connecting, to querying, and modifying the database

• Ability to formulate basic SQL queries and make sense of complex SQL queries

• Implementing and invoking User Defined Functions (UDFs)

• Using CFML tags to maintain state using Cookies

• Understand object oriented application development using ColdFusion Components (CFCs)

Upon completion of this course, the student will know the value of creating and revising formula, with the help of statistical, date and time, financial and logical functions. The student will have a foundational understanding of inserting external data into worksheet. Data sources include databases, spreadsheets, and application memory.
